A Child’s grace

To see a World in a Grain of Sand

This ongoing personal project seeks to explore the grace and beauty of childhood. Picking up a camera is often a chance to shed the exhaustion and doubt that comes with motherhood and submit to my children’s world. What emerges is this carefree realm where children are so masterful and present and are always inviting us to remember that state of true self. The images ebb and flow with the seasons and point to children’s effortless ability to connect with nature. Despite the huge challenges the world faces, this work is my personal reminder that every new generation meets the world with grace, and humanity is offered a chance to renew.
